There are moments when the sky looks so unfamiliar that the human mind struggles to accept what the eyes are seeing.
A glowing cloud stretches across the darkness. Blue and violet colours spread like an enormous cosmic explosion. Wisps of light curl outward, resembling something captured by a telescope millions of kilometres away.
For a moment, it looks like the universe has decided to reveal one of its secrets.
But this is not a distant nebula. It is not an exploding star, an approaching celestial body or a scene from a science-fiction film.
It is something much closer to home.
A rocket.
And behind some of these extraordinary displays is SpaceX, the aerospace company founded by Elon Musk.
What appears to be a cosmic masterpiece is actually the result of human engineering, atmospheric physics and remarkably precise timing.
The night sky, it seems, has acquired an unexpected artist.
